Maine Peak to Peak Team Event

The Ski Maine Team will Ski & Ride all 17 peaks in

Portland ME:The team is made up of 8 individuals.  Carey Kish, Greg Sweetser, Annie O'Brien,  Janet Thurston, Craig Hansen, Heather Atwell, Joanne Mason & Bruce Mason.

Four additional members of the tour: Andrew Knowles (videographer) Amelia Knowles, Skye Chalmers (photographer), Dana Thurston

This memo outlines the details of the tour to keep us on schedule.  The goal is to log one run at each member area. If we arrive at an area after closing time, a short hike and glide will fulfill our mission.

 
1. Start Time, Friday January 18   1:30 pm at Spruce Mt, Jay.  Depart 2:15 pm
2. Arrive Lost Valley 3:00pm  depart 3:30
3. Arrive Shawnee Peak  4:30pm  depart 5:15
4. Arrive Mt Abram  6:15 pm   (Dinner)

Friday Overnight at  Sunday River  8:30 pm

Saturday January 19:

5. First chair at Sunday River 8:00 am  depart 9:00 am  (RSN TV interview) (breakfast)
6. Arrive Black Mountain 10:00am  depart 10:30am
7. Arrive Titcomb 11:30 am  depart 12:30 (lunch)
8. Arrive Saddleback  1:30pm depart 2:15pm
9. Arrive Sugarloaf 3:15pm (Sugarloaf check presentation 4:15 pm)  (RSN TV interview) (dinner)

Saturday Overnight at Sugarloaf

Sunday January 20: Depart Sugarloaf 7:00 am

10. Arrive Baker Mt 8:30 am depart 9:00
11. Arrive Eaton Mt 10:00am depart 10:30
12. Arrive Hermon Mt 11:30 am  depart 12:30 (lunch)
13. Arrive Mt Jefferson 2:00pm depart 2:30

15. Arrive Quoggy Jo 7:00 pm

Sunday Overnight at Nordic Heritage Center on the summit of Quoggy Jo

Monday January 21: Depart Quoggy Jo 7:30am
16. Arrive Lonesome Pine Trails 9:00 depart 10:00
17. Arrive Camden Snow Bowl 3:30 pm  depart 5:00 pm
Arrive back in Portland just a little bit road weary.
