Mt. Jefferson is a family owned ski area. Mt. Jefferson offers 12 trails, a snowboard park and a half-pipe. Night skiing is available several evenings, as well as half-day tickets. Though Mt. Jefferson still relies on Mother Nature for snow, skiers/riders have come to trust the history of well-groomed trails. Enjoy picturesque views of Mt. Katahdin or the tranquility of the forest on the half-mile Granny Trail, which takes a nice gradual path around the mountain. Located only one hour north of the Bangor area, it's worth your skiing dollars!
